Hi everyone! It's my goal during this school closure to share music class content with you, some of it picking up where we left off, some of it just for fun, and also to share some challenges we can complete and share! 

 

Here are some music class resources! Anyone can access all of it at any time. To utilize the recorder or ukulele options, you would need an instrument, or you can just check it out!

The Singalong Playlist is for any age group. Should closures extend, I will change this playlist weekly, and hopefully plan on meeting through Zoom for any interested individuals who want to have a Fun Sing Along time. I will post links on Class Dojo when I schedule a meeting. If an event fills up (100 people is the max), I can create another! In the meantime, if you haven't downloaded the Zoom app, check it out! My son and his teacher and classmates have met several times through Zoom, and it has been wonderful and a huge morale boost during this challenging time.

 

I also am linking some music activities and games that can be used online. This week's featured website is drumbit.app. We used this in 4th grade a few times last year, and it was something they enjoyed immensely. If you do create some amazing, intense beats on drumbit, PLEASE save it and email it to me (jwitter@shsd.k12.pa.us). I would be so excited to hear from you!!  There is no assignment at this time - just play around with it and let me hear what sounds good to you!
