My name is Kaitlyn Steckbeck and I am excited to say that this is my eighth year teaching first grade at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School! I graduated from Penn State Harrisburg with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2016. I received my Graduate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in 2022. I am certified to teach students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. 

My goal as a teacher is to support students in learning new things and exploring the different ways that they can learn. I work hard to build a classroom community that supports each other as we are all growing and learning every day! I teach students about having a growth mindset and work with them on handling situations that may be difficult, by understanding that WE CAN DO HARD THINGS! We also focus on Roller PRIDE in my classroom.
