My name is Samantha Roedts and I have been teaching at Steelton-Highspire Junior High School since the 2014-2015 School Year.  I currently teach 7th grade mathematics and coach the Junior High Track and Field Team.  I graduated with my bachelors of science in mathematics from Cedar Crest College in May of 2010 and immediately started on my Masters Degree.  In February 2012 I graduated with my Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in teaching mathematics from grades 5 through 12 from Western Governors University.

I have taught for several different school districts in the York county including Red Lion, Dallastown, Susquehannock, Dover and West Shore as a substitute and a math intervention specialist.  Prior to coming to Steelton I worked for New Hope Academy Charter School in York City as their Math Intervention Specialist.

When not at school I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, quilting, singing and dancing.  I have two cats Hermione Melanie and Ronald Rhett who provide a great deal of entertainment for my husband and myself.
