Sight words are important to practice in first grade because it will help the students with their reading. These are words that children are expected to learn by sight because many of them cannot be sounded out (example: where, they, why). Below are a list of videos that children can watch to help master these sight words. They can even write them down or use them in a sentence while they are watching the videos.
