Steelton-Highspire School District Announces Visionary Stadium Revitalization Project
Steelton-Highspire School District, in collaboration with the Roller Nation Foundation and On Hill Development LLC, is proud to unveil the Community Transformation & Stadium Revitalization Strategic Framework—a multi-phase plan to restore our historic stadium and invest in the future of our students and community.
This initiative will transform the stadium into a Community Education, Career, Health & Wellness Hub, featuring:
• Installation of a new synthetic turf field, lighting, and sound system
• Construction of ADA-compliant seating, classrooms, and a community kitchen
• Development of a full-service center offering career training, STEM education, childcare, and mental health services
“This isn’t just about upgrading a facility—it’s about unlocking futures and honoring our legacy,” said Superintendent Dr. Mick Iskric.
This effort has already garnered the support of distinguished alumni, including Jordan Hill, David Sullivan, and Troy Drayton, who are championing the project as a generational investment in the boroughs of Steelton and Highspire.
