Visitor Entry Policies

Visitor Entry Procedures at the High School

A double locked vestibule system is in every building requiring the following entry procedures for parents, students, and visitors. 

  • All visitors to the high school will use the far right door located at the main entrance.

  • Press the speaker box and wait for a response. State your purpose for the visit, i.e. “Pick up a student for an appointment”, “drop off a coat”, etc.

  • When entry is permitted, proceed into the entrance way.

  • All visitors entering the building will sign in on the visitor entry log and be issued a visitor pass attached to a lanyard.

  • Visitors must display the visitor pass at all times while inside the school building.

  • Visitors will be met by the staff member they are here to visit or proceed directly to a specific location to conduct their business, i.e.; guidance office.

  • Visitors will report back to the MAIN OFFICE upon completion of their visit. 

  • Return the visitor pass and lanyard and sign out on the visitor log.

  • Proceed out of the building by using the  EXIT DOOR IN THE MAIN OFFICE

  • When entering or exiting the building, please do not hold the door open for the next visitor. 

    If you are picking up a student for an appointment, complete and sign the early dismissal log. The office secretary will have the student sent to the office from class. The student will be directed to meet you in the entry hallway. Once the student is in the entry hallway you may exit out of the building.

Visitor Entry Procedures at the Elementary School

A double locked vestibule system is in every building requiring the following entry procedures for parents, students, and visitors. 

  • All visitors to the elementary school will use the far right door located at the main office entrance (Entrance A).
  • Press the speaker box and wait for a response. State your purpose for the visit, i.e. “Pick up a student for an appointment”, “drop off a coat”, etc.
  • When entry is permitted, proceed into the entrance way.
  • Stop at the service window. A drawer is located at the service window.**
  • All visitors entering the building will sign in on the blue visitor entry log and be issued a numbered visitor pass attached to a lanyard.
  • Visitors must display the visitor pass at all times while inside the school building.
  • Visitors will be met by the staff member they are here to visit or proceed directly to a specific location to conduct their business, i.e.; guidance office.
  • Visitors will report back to the main office upon completion of their visit.  
  • Proceed to the main office. Return the visitor pass and lanyard and sign out on the visitor log.
  • Proceed out of the building by using the front door.
  • When entering or exiting the building, please do not hold the door open for the next visitor.

The student will be directed to meet you in the entry hallway. Once the student is in the entry hallway you may exit out of the building.
