School Board Oversight Committees
The Steelton-Highspire School District Board Oversight Committees serve as advisory bodies that ensure proper governance, accountability, and collaboration between the Board and district administration. These committees work closely with district leaders to review policies, procedures, and operational effectiveness, making recommendations to the full Board as necessary.
Each committee is responsible for reviewing issues, asking questions, gathering information, and bringing recommendations forward. Committees do not replace the full Board and do not take final action unless authorized.
The Board President serves as an ex officio member of all committees and may attend and participate as needed.
