Request for Proposal – Garbage Services

The Steelton-Highspire School District is requesting proposals for the contracting of garbage services.  If you are interested in responding, ensure your response is fully completed, sealed and reaches my attention no later than Friday, June 12, 2026 by 12:00 p.m. local time.

Please find below the Request for Proposal for the Steelton-Highspire School District.

We have structured the Request for Proposal to be completed as the draft contractual document.  We are willing to provide an electronic version to make it easier for you to complete.  Any suggested language changes are required to be highlighted and fully explained as supplemental information as part of your response.  The District reserves the right to further negotiate the exact contractual language and conditions with those selected for final consideration as part of the Request for Proposal process.

In addition to the completed Request for Proposal, the following documentation is required:

  1. Completed acknowledgement of the document labeled “Proposal for Garbage Removal Services” – Attachment 1.
  2. Proof of Insurance (Certificate of Insurance)
  3. List any pending and previously resolved litigation to which the contractor is a party.
