• SHIRT stands for Steelton-Highspire Initiative Roll Together.  

    It is an organization which has developed to engage and empower the youth, adults and families of Highspire and Steelton to restore and rebuild positive and healthy communities. SHIRT meetings are listed below and begin at 6 p.m.

    The Parent Advisory Council (which has joined with the SHIRT parent group) has the following meeting dates:

    Thankful Threads is a new thrift shop within St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Highspire.  The clothing store/donation center is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning October 20th. The items do not have prices the church just asks that a donation be made in place of the items purchased. Kids, women, and men clothing is available as well as blankets and shoes

    Highspire will be celebrating their bicentennial in the year 2014!
