A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MYSELF:
I was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I attended Harrisburg Christian School from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I then moved to Long Island New York where I studied elementary education at Hofstra University. After graduating college I moved back home and started teaching for the Harrisburg School District. I taught 5th grade for three years at Hamilton Elementary School. I resigned from Harrisburg with the goal to find an educational leadership position. Shortly after my resignation I was hired as the cite director at Mikayla's Place: A Child Care Development Center. I worked there for approximately a year before I decided to go back to school in order to get my masters degree in education with my K-12 administration certificate. My long term goal is to become an administrator.

Since then I have been back in school and last year I worked for Steelton-Highspire School District as a long term substitute. I taught both 5th grade as well as 4th-6th grade emotional support. I was hired contractually over the summer as the 6th grade science teacher.
Which leaves me here!
I am so excited to be here and it is truly a blessing to teach your children everyday!

"A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank...but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child."
