The 2019-2020 school year is my 3rd year as Principal at Steel-High! 

Background: Prior to coming to Steel-High, I was an Assistant Principal in Philadelphia and Reading, PA. Before becoming an administrator, I taught middle school math for 8 years in the City of Reading. 

Education: I graduated in 2006 from Bloomsburg University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Spanish. I earned my ESL Program Specialist certification from Penn State in 2007, and finished my master's degree in Urban Education with a Principal's Certification from Alvernia University in 2011. 

When I'm not at school I love to go hiking, read, exercise, and spend time with my family and my cat, Nena!
