Financial Recovery Advisory Committee

School districts in financial recovery are required to establish Advisory Committees as per Section 654-A of the PA School Code.  The Advisory Committee meets once per month (the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00PM in the District Office Board Room). 

Committee Representatives are:

1) Two members of the School Board (Michael Wanner and Calvin Johnson),

2) Once principal (Megan Armstead),

3) One Business Official Employed by the School District (currently vacant),

4) One employee of the Intermediate Unit (Dr. Andria Saia),

5) One representative of a charter school (Dr. George Ioannidis),

6) One special education advocate (Beth Light),

7) One superintendent, school official or business official of a local school district (Dr. Ben Henry),

8) Two residents of the school district (Gloria Mosley, Tia Taylor),

9) One teacher appointed by the employee organization representing the school district employees (John Rhodes),

10) The superintendent of the school district (Willie Slade).

 

All Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.
