Troubleshooting iPads
Hold the IPAD with the round circle home button down towards the floor.

Press the Circle Home button and if the IPAD does not turn on then turn the IPAD on by pressing and holding the rectangular button on the top right of the IPAD until you see the apple symbol come on then release the button.

Connect the IPAD to the home WIFI by double pressing the home button to see available WIFI options. Connect to your home wifi.

Click on other user in bottom left corner of screen

Log in with the AppleID on the sticker on the back of the IPAD

The initial passcode/pin is the one provided by your school/teacher then they will need to pick a new 6 digit pin for their student.

Pick a language (for example English)

Pick the united states as a country

Change the password when prompted by entering the one provided by your school/teacher then picking a new 6 digit pin and verifying it. **Wait for the password change to take effect (about 3- seconds) and you will be logged into the ipad to the blue roller background in about 30 seconds.

Open the student applications folder

Log into chrome with the shsdrollers.org email and the password provided to you by your teacher/school.

Pick a new password for the shsdrollers.org account

Close google and open classroom and pick the students gmail rollers.org account

Select I’m a student

Click the plus to join a class

Enter the class code from your teacher.
iPad Won't Open ClassKIck
1. Try closing all apps by double clicking the home button and swiping up on each app.
2. Open just ClassKick and log back in.
3. Restart the IPAD by pressing and holding the power button on the top right corner until the "slide to power off" icon comes up then slide to power off the IPAD. Then wait 10 seconds and turn the IPAD back on.
4. Email the teacher or technology department computerhelp@shsd.k12.pa.us describing the issue and the technology department will respond and help.
iPad Won't Open Google Classroom
1. Try closing all apps by double clicking the home button and swiping up on each app.
2. Open just Google Classroom and log back in.
3. Restart the IPAD by pressing and holding the power button on the top right corner until the "slide to power off" icon comes up then slide to power off the IPAD. Then wait 10 seconds and turn the IPAD back on.
4. Email the teacher or technology department computerhelp@shsd.k12.pa.us describing the issue and the technology department will respond and help.
iPad Won't open Flip
1. Try closing all apps by double clicking the home button and swiping up on each app.
2. Open just Flip and log back in.
3. Restart the IPAD by pressing and holding the power button on the top right corner until the "slide to power off" icon comes up then slide to power off the IPAD. Then wait 10 seconds and turn the IPAD back on.
