Sometimes your student issued Chromebook device does not function properly. Below are some quick tips you can try before contacting your teacher for help. All issues or questions with your Chromebook should be sent to your teacher. The teacher will then reach out to the technology department if they cannot resolve your technical issue. Once they hear back from the technology department they will give you instructions o what to try or when you can bring your device to the school to have it looked at or swapped out.

Chromebook Troubleshooting

I can't log into my Chromebook.

  • Your usernames are always lastNamefirstname@shsdrollers.org  the only reason it would not be your full last name is that the username cannot be longer than 20 characters so if your name is really long you need to stop at the 20th character, not including the @shsdrollers.org. for example, if your username was JohnathanMcmillenMcgee@shsdrollers.org you would cut it off at JohnathanMcMillenMcg@shsdrollers.org. notice that the last two letters ee are not included. If you know your username is correct but you think you forgot your password please contact your teacher. Your teacher will reach out to the technology department and get your password reset and then contact you back with the new password.
