Program Updates for 2026–2027
New Learning Platform
The district will transition from Acellus to Schoology:

Teachers will post lessons, assignments, and assessments in Schoology

Coursework will more closely mirror in-person instruction

Improved alignment with district curriculum and expectations
Increased Structure and Expectations
To improve engagement and academic outcomes:

Students will follow a daily schedule

Students will be required to attend live, remote classes

Expectations for participation and accountability will be increased
Grade Level Eligibility for RCA
Beginning in 2026–2027:

RCA will be available only to students in grades 7–12

The district will no longer offer a cyber option for elementary students
These changes reflect our commitment to ensuring students are placed in learning environments that best support their academic and developmental needs.
Revised Application Process
The application and approval process will be more rigorous:

Enrollment will be based on whether cyber learning is an appropriate fit

Consideration will include academic performance and social-emotional needs
